I haven’t written this poem because i mostly prefer to write in English. So i haven’t added it into poem section but just as a fun..

ESE examination

Our end semister exam is starting on 20th Nov. 6 days of PL, we are getting, as submission completed on 14th, with three days of Diwal holidays. Time is less, when the syllabus of study is compulsorily huge.

I was troubled because, even preparing all chapters from standard C programming books by Kanetakar, Ritchie n Karnighm. I found some confusinmg tricky questions, at one programming contest.. For eg. Objective was “What is sequence point..?”

So, what read it…

when i hacked linux pcs.

      when you are novice with the linux environment, you will not be aware of all security issues with general  thinkings that ” Linux has greater security issues”.But there are obviously holes also  through which hacker will enter.
After general installation of Red Hat linux. Root password is set. Root it one basic
administrator who has most of the previliges. One can create number of users through this account.  There is one way after with i found linux is not secure os.  You can change root password with following steps that i tested.

1. Start the PC.and let the load linux grub. LILO display is the screen you see at the      time of user login.
2.You press ‘e’ for edit. and you will see two to three tab.
3. edit the main kernel.
4. You need to append the boot kernel string “single”.
5. Done with this. Linux will boot in sinlel mode. (See there are 7 running modes of         linux)
6. Fire command ” passwd”, which enable you to change the root passwd, without asking  current password.
7.After typing the password two time, run “reboot” command.
8. And now you had the root passwd, login easily with root administrator.

linux proxy cache

squid is one easily installed proxy web cache on the linux. You can get installation package here. It was our last assignment in information system(IS). I tried on the RedHat system. You need to have root login accessiblity to do this. Configeration settings are little difficult. But
after trial and error it is possible. Network administrator has rights to deny some services
but if one is avare of linux services, it is easy to access everything that you like..
