The Sun and candle

Once while setting behind the

mountains Sun raged over the earth,

laughed, “I left you all alone,

left you in darkness, I  swept

every bit of light from your life.”

When sun disappeared leaving,

whole earth in terror, thudding silence

One candle motioned ahead.

Flame sputtering along with winds,

uttered, “Why all you mighty fear,

as I appeared only for you dear.

See, I have source of light.

It will wipe all your fear and darkness,

will make you able and willing.

Let that impudent sun feel

Shame over its grandness.”
