World class Pakistani Cricketer Imran Khan has started political campaigning for elections in 2013 in Pakistan with his party, Tehrik-e-Insaaf. Charismatic personality is going to head on competition with PPP, lead by President Asif Zardari. He has given many dynamic speeches.
Let’s see only what he thinks about India.
He gave message to Indian government- “I believe there is never a military solution to any problem. In the past 40 years, according to Rand Corporation, only 7% have been solved by military forces. More than 90% was solved through dialogue, intelligence and police. When you put the army in civilian areas,it causes enormous amount of human-rights violation. Whether it is the Indian army in Kashmir or the Pakistani army in FATA or Balochistan or the US army in Iraq or Afghanistan, the result is the same everywhere: alienation of the local people. This is treating cancer with Dispirin.”
His message to his fans in India – “Well, it is simple. India and Pakistan are neighbors and we cannot change neighbours. We have to live as civilized neighbors. We have to solve differences not through guns and bombs, but though political dialogue. We are on the verge of becoming the energy corridor of the world if all three of us China, India and Pakistan join hands. Millions of people in the subcontinent will stand to benefit, economically and socially from this political action of coming together.”
